Asperger East Anglia organises groups for people of all ages who have or are thought to have Asperger syndrome and their families.
These groups provide:
- a safe and non-threatening environment where children, young people and adults with Asperger syndrome can meet their peers and have the opportunity to build self esteem whilst learning the social skills we all take for granted.
- opportunities for parents/carers and other family members to meet others who are or have been in the same or similar situations. They are able to support each other by sharing experiences and knowledge.
- siblings to meet others who have brothers or sisters with Asperger syndrome.
- greater awareness and understanding of Asperger syndrome.

A special presentation and discussion on the dangers and advantages of the internet.
Head of Adult Services at Asperger East Anglia Steve Bloomfield will lead a discussion on the way the internet influences all our lives.Including the dangers the internet presents such as pornography and gambling addiction People with Asperger syndrome, guests, parents and carers are all welcome.
