In our Beccles based workshops we offer employment training for young people diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.
In our electrical workshop we deal with the testing and repair of computers and general electrical items.
We offer a repair service which is carried out by our clients overseen by our workshop supervisor. If you would like to read more information about the repairs we carry out please download the relevant flyer from the following link: Beccles Workshop Repairs Information
If clients show aptitude with electrical testing they can carry on to achieve a certificate which will enable them to carry out Portable Appliance Testing [PAT] which can enhance employability.
We also have a woodwork workshop where clients are shown how to safely handle both hand and electrically powered tools. We aim to give clients a good grounding in basic woodworking techniques.
The woodworking workshop has developed a range of wooden crates, made using wooden pallets, or when we are unable to obtain them, plywood, which we sell to support our work.
We also encourage clients to become involved in selling on our eBay website.
Both our electrical and wood items are sold in our 'A shop' which is based at the same building as the workshop.
If you would like further information on.
